Advanced Coding Class

Filed under: Uncategorized — Faith @ 9:25 pm

Physician Resources, Director, Diana Yates, CPC, has created a class plan for a person who has had previous coding and/or medical billing experience. This class is a more in-depth learning style using the basic tools of the medical coder, the CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding books. It is our mission to make sure you, as the student, are confident and prepared to sit for the national certification examination. Weekly homework and tests are designed to guide you in that direction. 96% of our students who complete this advanced class have passed the examination!! They have also went on to succeed in reaching their goal of becoming gainfully employed as a certified professional coder.

This program/publication/subscription/etc. has prior approval of the American Academy of Professional Coders for 30.0 Continuing Education Units. Granting of this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by the Academy of the program, content or the program sponsor.

  2. Diana,

Its been a pleasure being in your class these last 16 weeks. Its flown by.
You are a walking book of knowledge with a bundle of energy and sense of
humor. Also an inspiration. I have always been fired up when I leave your
class and ready to go on learning another week. You of all people can
understand how hard the choices can be when trying to balance work, home,
and new adventures. I only know a small part of your life and its
evolvement, but what I suspect is that you have always reached for the moon
and at very least you have landed among the stars. You are someone who
builds people up instead of bringing them down. That is certainly rare in
    this day/age. I appreciate it!!!
